Christmas Morning

Christmas morning the kids ran downstairs to find the cookies had been eaten and the milk was all gone. Under the tree they found their gifts from Santa. Briana and William were so excited as they ripped the paper away and found the gifts they had asked for. Briana had a fur real kitty. William asked for Bumble Bee. Alyssa is not really a morning baby and slept while the other kids discovered their gifts from Santa.

Later that morning all three waited patiently as we loaded up the car to head to grandma and papa's for more present opening and merriment. The kids spent the rest of their morning with their cousins Michael, Joey and Lexi.

Alyssa did eventually get to open her new stroller from Santa with a little help from big sister and big cousin. Michael.

Christmas Morning -Day 25!!

Christmas morning at grandma and papa's house. Briana loved the singing Pinkie Pie pony and William loved his Home Depot tool box. Alyssa didn't quite know what to make of everything but she was excited. We stayed for an early Christmas dinner then headed home to watch the kids play with all of their new toys.

Cristmas Eve - Day 24

Christmas Eve with the in-laws. When Alan and I first started this tradition the celebration went well beyond midnight. Now with small kids we usually wrap things up by 8:30-9pm. :-)

1st Day of Gift Opening! - Day 23 (25 Days of Christmas)

Christmas starts at our house. Alan fixed a huge dinner for family and then we opened gifts. This keeps us from lugging a bunch of gifts from house to house during the busy holiday season. :-)

Snow! Day 21 (25 Days of Christmas)

My parents have a second home near Lake Arrowhead and so we decided to head up and have our own play day in the snow. There was so much on the ground and the kids had a ton of fun! Although it did take me a while to convince William to go out and play. When he finally did go outside he had a blast!

My nephew, Joey. I thought I also uploaded a pic of my other nephew but he wasn't as cooperative when it came to taking a picture.

They are too cute!

Knott's Merry Farm - Day 20 (25 Days of Christmas)

Alan had received two free tickets to Knott's that expired on the 24th of December. So, we thought we would go and check it out. After all, we just needed to purchase one ticket for Briana and it would be something fun to do. Little did we know that this weekend was also the Toys for Tots drive. Basically, if you brought in one toy worth $10 or more you got one person in the park for free. The place was PACKED. It took us one hour to get from the freeway to the park. Still we went inside. I don't like crowds and usually avoid them at all costs but William was so excited and I thought, how bad could it really be? On top of the impending crowds, Briana had mentioned that she was not feeling well. Unfortunately, she says this at least once a week. Go figure that today she was really sick and threw up a few times on the way there and once on the way back. So, she basically stayed in the stroller for the entire time we were there. Basically, we saw, we didn't like it and so we left. Live and Learn! Never go to Knott's Berry Farm when they have a deal going.
